Summary: At the meeting, the Heat Treatment Workshop and nine outstanding individuals, including Shu Gongmin and Yu Cong, were commended for their achievements in the 100-day labor competition. In addition, three comrades—Tan Guanhua, recognized as an Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Worker of Huangshi City; Zhou Bihai, honored as an Advanced Individual in Innovation and Excellence in Huangshi City; and Wang Wei, an Outstanding Communist Youth League Member of Huangshi City—were awarded commendations.
On the afternoon of July 19, the company held its 2021 Mid-Year Work Conference in the third-floor conference room, with attendance by mid-level and senior management personnel.
At the meeting, the Heat Treatment Workshop and nine outstanding individuals, including Shu Gongmin and Yu Cong, were commended for their achievements in the 100-day labor competition. In addition, three comrades—Tan Guanhua, recognized as an Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Worker of Huangshi City; Zhou Bihai, honored as an Advanced Individual in Innovation and Excellence of Huangshi City; and Wang Wei, named an Outstanding Communist Youth League Member of Huangshi City—were awarded commendations.
Members of the company’s leadership team each summarized and analyzed the performance of the four business segments—sales, technology, production, and management—for the first half of 2021, and outlined the objectives and strategic direction for the second half of the year.
Finally, General Manager and Party Secretary Cen Weifeng addressed the assembly. He noted that in the first half of 2021, the company’s sales revenue and profits had already reached the “mid‑year mark” in terms of both time and targets, while maintaining strong year‑on‑year growth. Output value and per‑capita labor productivity also saw steady improvement, yielding commendable results. However, he cautioned that the challenges ahead in the second half remain severe and the tasks at hand are still demanding. The immediate priority is to identify and swiftly address any shortcomings that constrain or hinder production and operations, thereby ensuring the company’s sustained development. He reiterated the guiding role of Party building, the paramount importance of quality, and the critical significance of lean management. He further emphasized that the company must steadfastly pursue a path of “pragmatic innovation,” rigorously prioritizing quality and relentlessly controlling costs, while aggressively capturing market share, elevating product quality, addressing weak links, and strengthening support systems. He encouraged and led all employees to bolster their confidence, press on with renewed vigor, and strive tirelessly to fully accomplish the company’s annual goals and objectives.
