Summary: On March 1, the groundbreaking ceremony for the company’s new Huangjingshan factory project—the Tieliu Automotive Transmission Components Industrial Park—was solemnly held at the Huangjingshan Development Zone in Huangshi. As one of the first batch of key projects launched in 2018 by the Huangshi Economic and Technological Development Zone, the industrial park project has received high attention from provincial and municipal leaders.
On March 1, the groundbreaking ceremony for the company’s new Huangjinshan factory project—the Tieliu Automotive Transmission Components Industrial Park—was solemnly held in the Huangjinshan Development Zone of Huangshi. As one of the first batch of key projects launched in 2018 by the Huangshi Economic and Technological Development Zone, the industrial park has received high attention from provincial and municipal leaders. Huangshi Mayor Dong Weimin, Vice Mayors Ye Zhanping and Zhou Weifen, along with relevant officials from the municipal government and the development zone, attended the ceremony. Mid-level and senior management personnel, as well as technical staff from the company, also took part.
At 8:30 a.m., colorful flags fluttered in the breeze as the groundbreaking ceremony officially commenced. Ye Zhanping, a member of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, presided over the event, while Zhang Zhilin, Chairman of Desa Group, delivered a speech, announcing an investment of RMB 2 billion to build an industrial park here for iron‑flow automotive transmission system components. He pledged that the project would position the company as a global leader in transmission systems, contributing to the strengthening and expansion of China’s automotive industry and further advancing Huangshi’s ambitious goals of high‑quality development and transformation and upgrading.
Amid the joyous sounds of gongs, drums, and ceremonial salutes, Mayor Dong Weimin officially declared the groundbreaking ceremony open. Mayor Dong then led the city’s leaders and company executives in jointly breaking ground and laying the cornerstone.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Tieliu Industrial Park not only marks the substantive commencement of construction on the company’s new facility but also lays the foundation for establishing a world-class R&D and manufacturing base for automotive transmission systems.
