Summary: On the winter solstice, November 21, in order to help management trainees gain a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of this traditional Chinese festival, carry forward our national heritage, ease their homesickness, and quickly familiarize themselves with the company environment, integrate into the organization, enhance communication, and make collective progress, under the arrangements of the Company Party Committee and the planning and organization of the Youth League Committee,
To attract, develop, and cultivate top talent and to foster the company’s healthy, long-term growth, the company launched the “Sail‑Up” Talent Reserve Program in 2021, subsequently recruiting a cohort of management trainees.
On December 21, the Winter Solstice, in order to help management trainees gain a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of this traditional Chinese festival, carry forward our national heritage, ease their homesickness, and quickly acclimate to their new environment while integrating into the company—thereby fostering greater communication and collective progress—the company, under the arrangements of the Party Committee and the planning and organization of the Youth League Committee, hosted a “Warm‑Hearted Winter Solstice” celebration in the second‑floor hall of the company cafeteria. Company leaders Cen Weifeng, Yi Mingyan, and Chen Xuhong, along with selected technical and managerial staff, joined all the management trainees at the event.
Lanterns, balloons, little lucky tigers… the venue was festively adorned by countless skillful hands, turning this chilly winter day into an especially warm and joyful occasion.
Everyone rolled up their sleeves and worked together, kneading dough, pinching off portions, rolling out wrappers, and wrapping dumplings… The whole process was filled with laughter, and soon plates were brimming with dumplings of all shapes and endless creative designs.
At the celebration, the management trainees each introduced themselves, shared their takeaways and reflections since joining the company, discussed their career aspirations, and showcased their talents. As steaming bowls of dumplings were brought to the table, everyone savored the dumplings they had made themselves, savoring the joy of youth and the warmth of camaraderie. While enjoying their meal, they also enjoyed the performances, and the event reached its climax with a group rendition of “Me and My Motherland.”
Cen Weifeng, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee and General Manager, extended his best wishes and words of encouragement. He briefly outlined the diverse customs associated with the Winter Solstice celebration across China’s northern and southern regions, highlighting their profound symbolic meanings and aspirations. He also expressed his hope that the management trainees would find joy in both their work and personal lives, grow and advance swiftly, and soon achieve outstanding results and make meaningful contributions in their roles.
Finally, company leaders presented awards to the winners, and the celebration concluded successfully in a joyful and harmonious atmosphere.
