On July 20, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. held a seminar on cutting-edge clutch technologies and system matching. Cen Weifeng, General Manager of Tri-Ring Clutch Company, along with Chief Engineer Zhang Bo, Deputy General Manager Xiang Yanguo, R&D Manager Li Renyuan, and other members of the expert team, attended as invited guests. The event received strong support from Tieliu Group and its sister units; Xie Maoqing, Vice President of Technology at Tieliu Co., Ltd., and Cai Renhua, Chief Engineer of Zhejiang Derui New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., also took part in the meeting.

The meeting was held in a hybrid format, combining online and in-person participation. Nearly 150 leaders and experts attended, including Qin Xingnian, Deputy Director of the Yuchai Engineering Research Institute; Deng Xiaoqun, Director of the Yuchai Academic Innovation Center; Liu Xing, General Manager of the Structural Development Department; Chief Engineer Chen Xiaofeng of the Powertrain Systems Center; Deputy General Manager Xu Guowei of the Marketing Company; and Chief Engineer Tian Xiaoyuan of the Structural Development Department.

Qin Xingnian, Deputy Director of the Yuchai Engineering Research Institute, first extended a warm welcome to all attendees and expressed his hope that this clutch‑technology exchange would inject new momentum into Yuchai’s product development. In his address, Vice General Manager Xiang Yanguo noted that Tri-Ring Clutch has been collaborating with Yuchai for nearly 30 years, consistently keeping pace with Yuchai’s advancements and driving continuous innovation. He emphasized that this exchange represents an invaluable learning opportunity for the company and that Yuchai will seize this occasion to further strengthen its communication and cooperation with Tri-Ring Clutch.

At the meeting, Tie Liu’s Vice President of Technology Xie Maoqing, the company’s Chief Engineer Zhang Bo, R&D Manager Li Renyuan, and Derui’s Chief Engineer Cai Renhua were appointed as honorary lecturers at the Yuchai Academic Innovation Center. Yuchai Corporation’s leadership presented them with their appointment letters and posed for a group photo.

During the technical exchange session, General Managers Xie and Cai respectively presented Tie Liu Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Derui’s explorations in clutch technology, their research on high-performance friction materials, and their market‑development efforts. Chief Engineer Zhang Bo and R&D Manager Li Renyuan then took the stage to share their experience in the development and application‑specific matching of cutting‑edge commercial‑vehicle clutch technologies.

General Manager Cen Weifeng delivered a speech, stating that the mission of Tri-Ring and Tieliu is to empower customers and realize personal growth. With the support of Yuchai Corporation, Tri-Ring Clutch will provide customers with superior products and services, create greater value, forge strong strategic partnerships, and pursue a path of mutual success.
