Job Description:
1. Responsible for coordinating with the vehicle manufacturer to define the functional and performance requirements for the AMT clutch and shift mechanism.
2. Take full responsibility for the commercial vehicle AMT clutch and shift actuator design, including 3D and 2D drawings.
3. Analyze and resolve faults in commercial vehicle AMT clutches and shifting systems, and implement optimization and improvements.
4. Participate in AMT clutch bench testing and calibration;
5. Coordinate with suppliers on technical matters and assess their technical capabilities.
6. Review the technical documents and reports related to this position;
7. Develop standardized design procedures for the AMT clutch system to enhance team capabilities.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, or a related field;
2. Familiar with the structure and key design principles of automobiles and conventional systems;
3. Familiar with competing AMT solutions and their respective features;
4. Master the basic operating principles of the automotive AMT clutch system and the fundamentals of mechanical design.
5. Master the key characteristics and design principles of commercial‑vehicle AMT clutches and gear‑shifting systems, and possess expert proficiency in AMT clutch structural design.
6. Possesses development and mass-production experience in at least two or more torque-limiting damper projects for a complete vehicle manufacturer.
7. More than five years of experience in the development and design of limited‑torque shock absorbers, with a strong familiarity with quality management processes such as APQP.
