The company’s remanufacturing plant is holding a skills competition.
On January 16, the company’s Remanufacturing Branch organized a hands-on skills competition in drill‑bit grinding. The branch manager and team leaders served as chief and deputy examiners, respectively, conducting a comprehensive assessment of employees’ equipment‑maintenance knowledge and operational proficiency through on‑site practice. Participants were required to strictly adhere to established operating procedures. The competition was divided into two parts: process execution and outcome evaluation. From powering up, workpiece clamping, adjustments, inspections, and shutdown to performing 4S maintenance, the assessment evaluated not only the correctness and completeness of each step but also timed the entire process to gauge the contestants’ level of skill. During the event, highly skilled and accomplished workers earned widespread praise, while the competition also rekindled employees’ enthusiasm for mastering technical expertise.
